American Express Centurion Lounge Miami Bar I ordered a prosecco and tried to get some work done. Due to it being 7am, no hard liquor was being served. American Express Centurion Lounge Miami American Express Centurion Lounge Miami Dining AreaĪt the back of the dining area was the bar. It consisted of about a dozen, mostly occupied, tables. American Express Centurion Lounge Miami Breakfast Buffet I did not eat anything but it all looked delicious. The breakfast buffet, which consisted of fruits, eggs, sausage, potatoes and a few other dishes, was located on the right. American Express Centurion Lounge Miami Seating Due to the morning, visibility was limited. There were huge windows that normally had great views of the tarmac. I made my way to the back corner of the lounge where there was a decent sized seating area with a tv and plenty of seating. I did not venture down the hallway, but the agent at the front desk provided the information when asked. Or you could follow the hallway to a quiet seating area that had coffee. To the right was some seating where you could look out at the terminal. Feeling ready to take on the day, I exited the shower suite. I thanked her and proceeded into the suite. The agent asked me to inform her when I was finished. American Express Centurion Lounge Miami SpaĪfter a few more steps, we were at the shower suite. We turned back towards the elevator and made a right down the circular hallway. No ma’am, 30 minutes was more than enough. The agent asked if I need longer than 30 minutes because she had the first guest of the day booked at that time. I asked to use the shower suite (for the blog of course). I was informed that the lounge had a spa (which did not open until 9am), shower suite, buffet, bar, and a quiet seating area overlooking the terminal. We made small talk about the lounge amenities for a few minutes. She asked for my boarding pass, identification, and the card that I was using to enter the lounge. I was welcomed to the lounge by a friendly agent, almost too friendly for 7am (I am not a morning person). Upon exiting the elevator, the front desk was straight ahead. The lounge was located on the fourth level, near gate D12, so I took the elevator up. The walk to the lounge, from the security checkpoint at D24, took about 10 minutes. My friend did not want to miss any announcements (or flights) so he took a left after security towards our departure gate while I made a right turn towards the lounge. I have visited lounges in Houston, San Francisco, and the old lounge in Dallas. There are nine American Express Centurion lounges in the world and I would like to visit all of them. At this point, I wanted to check out the American Express Centurion Lounge. It took about 10 minutes to process through security. We did not have to American Airlines’ check-in counter because we had the United Airlines’ agent print our boarding passes the night before.
